WHO IS THE CREATOR OF HOLY ERROR CLOTHING?

The Birth of Holy Error
Holy Error began as a personal project—a way for Toon to honor the memory of a wild rabbit that inspired him, while also aligning his fashion choices with his growing faith. As he put it when he surrendered his life to God; he began feeling convicted wearing secular T-shirt designs. “It just didn’t feel right anymore…”-Toon. What started as clothing made for himself soon caught the attention of his followers, who began requesting his designs. Recognizing the opportunity as divine alignment, Toon embraced the moment. “The worker deserves his wages.” — Luke 10:7.

Toon believes Holy Error was not just a brand, but a divine calling—born from every triumph, trial, sweat, blood, tear and “error” that shaped him. From the streets of Philadelphia to a life of peace and purpose, Holy Toon’s story is a testament to God’s grace, redemption, and perfect timing. Toon says, “ I’m not perfect but everyday I aim to be better than I was yesterday. Tomorrow is a new day to try again and give glory to GOD while embracing all that comes in the thick of the storm. We must remain calm… through it all”

The Good. The Bad. The Holy Error.

🙏 Faith Over Fame 🌟

Over the years, Toon built an impressive digital presence, managing multiple YouTube channels and reaching audiences across the world. His largest channel grew to nearly 70,000 subscribers, filled with creative storytelling, cinematic visuals, and artistic expression. But when Toon fully surrendered his life to God, everything changed — not just his path, but his heart. The hunger for recognition, numbers, and views faded, replaced by a deep desire to live with purpose and glorify the One who gave him his gift in the first place.

What once drove him to create for attention now fuels him to create for impact. The stage lights dimmed, but his faith began to shine brighter than ever. In early September, Toon launched a brand-new YouTube channel devoted entirely to giving glory to God — a platform rooted in faith, hope, and redemption. Through this channel, he uses his creative talent to inspire others, share personal testimony, and remind the world that true success isn’t measured in followers or fame, but in obedience to God’s calling.

Toon believes this new chapter isn’t a step backward, but a divine redirection — proof that when you surrender your gifts to God, He transforms them into something eternal. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”Colossians 3:23

It all begAN with an idea.

Founder of Holy Error Clothing

Holy Toon is the visionary founder and creator behind the faith-inspired apparel line, Holy Error Clothing. Born and raised in the Kensington neighborhood of North Philadelphia, Toon grew up as the oldest of nine siblings in a single-parent household. Raised by his hardworking father—who labored over 80 hours every two weeks to provide for his son—Toon learned early the values of perseverance and resilience. Without the daily presence of his brothers and sisters, he found a sense of family and belonging in the streets of Philadelphia.

After graduating high school in 2006, Toon pursued higher education and earned a degree in Digital Film and Video Production in 2012. He dedicated nearly a decade of his life to the nonprofit childcare sector, leading and coordinating K-12th grade after-school, summer camp, and adult social service programs. In 2016, feeling called to explore his creative gifts, Toon resigned from his position to pursue his passion for film full-time.

From 2016 to 2022, his work flourished. Toon produced over 3,000 pieces of content, including more than 100 music videos, 100+ unboxings, web series, documentaries, skits, and over 1000 virtual tours covering 48 states across the U.S. His creative journey took him coast to coast, telling stories and capturing the essence of people and places across America.

In late 2023, Toon made a life-changing decision to leave the fast-paced city life behind and move to the countryside in search of peace and clarity. The loss of dozens friends and family to gun violence, including his lifelong best friend of over 20 years, Walter Scott Roseboro III, deeply impacted him. These painful experiences shifted his perspective on success and purpose. As Luke 9:25 reminds us, “For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself?” Toon realized that fulfillment wasn’t found in fame or recognition—it was in faith, peace, and living with divine purpose.

Over the past three years, Toon has embraced a slower, more meaningful lifestyle, grounding himself in faith, creativity, and reflection. In 2025 Toon made a commitment to read the bible daily. In late 2025 he made a public declaration of his renewed faith by being baptized on October 18th—a defining moment that symbolized the start of a new spiritual chapter.

Toon’s wide range of interests—from art and filmmaking to cars and off-roading just to name a few—reflects his creative spirit and love for simple joys. Yet, his greatest transformation came when he surrendered his ambitions to God and learned to listen to His voice in solitude.
